Artist of the Day: Kid Cudi
Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi (born January 30, 1984), better known by his stage name Kid Cudi, sometimes stylized as KiD CuDi, is an American rapper, singer and actor. He first gained major attention after the release of his debut mixtape A Kid Named Cudi. In 2009, his single "Day 'n' Nite" reached the top five of the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts. "Day 'n' Nite" is part of Cudi's debut album Man on the Moon: The End of Day. Cudi has also worked with Kanye West, Common, David Guetta and other artists signed to the GOOD Music label.

CunninLynguists are a hip hop trio from Lexington, Kentucky and Atlanta, Georgia. The group currently consists of Deacon the Villain, Kno, and Natti. The name is a portmanteau of the words cunning andlinguist, and is also a play on the word cunnilingus.

Aloe Blacc (Born 1979 as David Patrick Neil James Wash-Lovell) is an American soul singer, rapper, and musician. His first album, entitled Shine Through, was released by Stones Throw Records in 2006 and his second album Good Things was also released by Stones Throw Records. The first single I Need a Dollar was widely successful across Europe peaking top ten in five countries and top forty in three others.

The Script is an Irish pop rock band from Dbulin Ireland. Based inLondon after signing to Sony Label Group imprint Phonogenic, the band released their eponymus debut album in August 2008. Their music has been featured in video games and the popular television programs, Ghost Whisperer, The Hills, Waterloo Road, Eastenders, and The Vampire Diaries. The recent blow up of their new song "For the First Time" has gotten their name buzzing around the music industry and radio stations.

Artist of the Day: Chris Webby
Chris Webby, (Christian Webster) was born on October 13, 1988 in Norwalk, Connecticut. He is an American rapper/hip-hop artist. Throughout Middle School and High School he was known for his drunken freestyles at parties, and by the time college came he was opening for Lupe Fiasco. Since then he has released five mixtapes: The Underclassmen, Teenage Mutant Ninja Rapper, The White Noise LP, Optimus Rhyme, and Best In The Burbs. He has worked with artists like: Mac Miller, Big K.R.I.T., and Joell Ortiz.

Artist of the Day: Blue Scholars
Blue Scholars is a hip hop duo based in Seattle Washington, created in 2002 while the members, DJ Sabzi and MCGeologic, were students at the University of Washington. Their music and lyrics often focus on struggles between socioeconomic classes, challenging authority and youth empowerment, as evidenced in the song "Sagaba."
